GIZ: Central Project Evaluations
Challenge
GIZ’s Central Project Evaluations (CPE) are independently conducted by external evaluators in order to increase transparency, improve the basis for evidence-based decision-making as well as increase the credibility and comparability of evaluation results.
Mainlevel’s contribution
Our consultants assess GIZ projects along with the OECD-DAC criteria. Contribution analyses are applied as the minimum standard to understand the projects’ effectiveness and impact. The assessment of the efficiency criterion is based on the follow-the-money approach. Since 2019, Mainlevel has conducted more than 25 CPEs across the globe.
